Pomegranate is being hailed as nature’s elixir of youth and anything that will help keep our skin looking younger for longer sounds good to us! 

A recent £2million study found a daily dose could slow the ageing process of DNA. It involved giving an extract of the whole fruit – including the pith, peel and seeds – in the form of a capsule to 60 volunteers daily for a month. 

The study found that the capsule essentially helped slow down certain DNA damage associated with ageing and can therefore help slow the ageing process. Pass us the pomegranates now!
